Most of our cases are medical malpractice cases.  We represent people who are injured by the careless of doctors and hospitals.  These cases are complex and difficult to pursue. 

We do not solicit cases.  We do not advertise on TV.  All of our cases come from referrals, usually from other attorneys or former satisfied clients.

We do not believe in bringing frivolous cases.  Consequently, we do a very careful screening of all cases.  We review between 150 and 200 potential cases for each one we file suit on. Our cases are first reviewed by Paul Kaufman, M.D., J.D. who, after ten years of practicing medicine and almost twenty of practicing law, is well equipped to know whether or not malpractice occurred.  Then, cases are evaluated by independent medical experts who must agree that there was negligence by the doctor or hospital which caused the patient’s injury.  We pay these doctors for their review whether they support a case or not.

Many lawyers charge clients to review cases such as medical malpractice cases.  We do not charge clients to review their cases.  Sometimes, patients or family members just want to know if things were done properly or not or what really was the cause of a bad result.  Even if we don’t think a case will be supported we will do a review to answer these questions and we do not charge any fee for the review.
